Hi,most of the top rod makers have feeder rods in there range with different colored tips,i have a Drenham DRX method feeder rod, that has one yellow, one green, one orange and one white tip,all different tips for different size fish,3oz for smaller fish such as roach and bream,4oz for larger bream and tench,5oz for large bream, tench and carp, the 6oz would be used for carp and tench over 5lb,hope this helps, all the best.
Graham,
