Bigest fish has to be my carp of 20lb but the one i will always put above that is my best Perch at 4lb 10oz thats one big perch and i don't think i will ever beat that....unfortunatly i have no photos of the perch but here is that 20lb carp....

I also caught this silver Bream that weighed in at well over a pound now that might not sound big but the British record is only just over the two pound mark so i was well pleased with this one....

Thanks......yes it did put up a fight...a total surprise it was because it came from a small mud puddle and caught on worm section...all i saw was a few bubbles and thought there might be a carp by the tree then bang,i was convinced it was a small carp but when i got it's head up i could see that big perch and what a sight it was....it was massive

ive never caught a big perch, nothing over half a pound or less, ive had loads of little ones though, the other day i caught one about 2-3 inches long on a size 8 hook! i would love to catch a big perch, i think they are pretty cool fish, even the small ones put up a fight, i find eels put up the biggest fight pound for pound though, half their weight has gotta be just slime!! lol

Nice Bream.....never caught a eel but then again i never target them but a good size eel is a real slippery customer to handle
