Yes.....you need to apply for a entrance ticket at one of the qualifying rounds that are held at certain venues around the country over about three months before the final....not sure about how they choose the lucky people but some seem to get three or four tickets so if they fail at one venue they have another chance elsewhere...just seems strange to me that the same people seem to get these tickets every year and most if not all are top match guys or personalities so the chance of you or me getting in is pretty remote i would say......the Ringer Brothers had a few goes this year again which just shows that it is not as fare as it should be in my books when picking the lucky people but i guess if Joe Bloggs(who) was in the final and his mates would it have the same pulling power i wonder.....anyway all the best to them but i will not waste my time trying to enter for sure

the only fair solution i would reccomend but you may have different views is that if theres say 16 people in the final then they should just have so many matches to determine hu the winners are and do it as a tournement to go through to the final where as i think they just pick the big names of the match fishing scene and dont think about other people who spend alot of money entering these and winning an odd few... the only ever seem to pick people hu win constantly which isnt fair as they should giv other winners the chance to make a name for thereself
