i find a mix of brown crumb and expo work well
i also like to some molasses to the mix aswell as bream have sweet tooth

At the risk of soundin dumb, what's expo?? yeah a bit of molasses would be good for holding the crumb together in the feeder

Ground bait....it is as i have said Bream will feed on most anything and yes you can add sweet goods like mentioned

Another stupid question, but how do i kill the maggots to put in the feeder??

You get to that when you reach a certain post count like me so now i can ask you questions and you can answer
Only joking...when scalding the maggots do not leave them in the hot water for to long because this will bleach the colour out of them and make then stretch although that is not a problem here because you are using them for feed bait....another way is to remove the air from the bag and put it in the freezer over night but remember to remove the air other wise they will come back to life after a wile when thawed out

Not too many questions i'd be able ta answer jesus maggots are good, come back to life after freezin, we can't even do that

hi cavanman,

just some tips that you may or may not of had.

i caught 11 8lb+ bream in one day on this technique:

size 8 hook
10lb line(can use less but why when theres a chance of a real gooden'!!?)
about 3 RED maggots on the hook at a time
ground baited little and often with mixed maggots and method
fished about 10meters out
