Where to start with barble and chub?

I live bang on the banks of the River Teifi in Wales, and hear there is good Barble and Chub, and fancy a go. Where do I start?

firsly how big is the river ?

The river is about 3-5 meters wide, and between 0.5-2 meters deep.
