winter chub

any tips about how to catch chub now using the feeder.

Tend not to use the feeder in winter just a few small bits of bait going in slowly but regularly and a nice big piece on the hook

I find that using a feeder with a smelly bait such as cheese is a real winner. Chub search with smell most of the time due to the habitat where they live. Especially in fast flowing rivers, a smelly bait is by far the best
