Going For A Session Wed, Going to need some Help!

Hey people!
Well there is a guy at our work who is always going fishing, he often wins and normally finishes in the top 3 or five.. well we worked today ( and all weekend, got a nice 40 hours in ) So we have earnt a day off in Lieu. So we have booked the wed off and hes going to show me how he fishes! Well.. he said if the weather is nice we should hopfully punch out 50lbs each.. well if i went fishing at my local fishery for 3 days i reckon i could get 40lb out lol.. So im kind of shooting for the stars on wed! Though i know its well stocked, and other than you have to use there feed pellets. there arent ay bait bans. Its stocked with the normal, carp tench bream roach rudd perch etc..

Just wondering if anyone has any advice so when i turn up i dont look like a complete Fool! I'll probably be using my 7m Carp margain pole, be taking my jelly pellets maggots, corn meat and some groundbait!

Anything else you would suggest?!

feed little bait items, in small quantitys very often. this will encourage the fish to become competitive. you may start off with small fish but the larger fish will start to push them out after a while
if your fishing with a pole , use a pole cup to be extra accurate. as i said before start off with small quantities but as the fish get more competitvie you can start to increase the amount of loose feed you put in

hope this advice helps

Well, i finished with about 36lb. Which is more than i'v ever caught in a single session, he finished with about 60lb.. Though i had a spate of two hours where i caught nothing!

Tbh it was very well stocked but all i caught was F1's ranging from one to two pound. about 8 bream and one baby mirror carp. I was slightly annoyed that there wasent anything bigger, Well none that i could temp anyway! i used his home made pellets which were brilliant, but i also tried larger cubes of meat to try and bring the biggers in.. still nothign, any hints for next time to try and draw the bigger ones into my swim?
