Question meat

a few weeks ago i made a ground bait mix putting 3 tins of luncheon meat through the riddle + about 4 good handfulls of fishmeal groundbait . I was going
on a match the next day and found out i couldnt use groundbait so i freezed
it till the next weekend took it out to defrost (forgot to take it with me)
should i re-freeze it for a second time or will it be ok in the fridge for 1 week

(preffere to keep in fridge as freezing 2 is no good is it )
cheers worms

Did you add water to it?

I'd just leave it to be honest. When I pre-mix at home I always add a bit more fresh groundbait on the bank to make it a bit more lively.

Refreezing won't harm the meat might make it soft but all I do with meat is either
just use it straight from the tin for hookbait
chop it fine and add to mixed ground bait as a freebie but not as groundbait alone
chop it for hook baits at home then FRY it usually in curry powder

I don't use Luncheon meat as a ground bait mix but use it as lose feed like MC states.
I would not put the mix in your Fridge but refreeze it,the meat will go off quickly even in the Fridge but if refrozen it should keep but it will be very soft afterwards has it absorbs all the water contents in the feed.
