confused
My husband and I have started fishing and are totally confused by everything. I read the article on here about learning to fish for carp. Even tho I am sure this is a good article a lot of the information is way above my head. It would take to long to tell you what I didn't understand so I will tell you what we know basically if you can imagine a 10 year old child getting a little rod and reel and 2 basic nets for christmas going to the tackle shop for maggots aquiring a tin of sweetcorn off mom. Well thats us!!!! We don't understand anything about any addition equipment. So far all the magazines/books presume you know what these things are and then tell you how to make them more useful. How can we find out there things

i totally understand where you are coming from. i have been there myself and i still am really, the best thing to do is to ask other anglers at your local venue and do abit of trial and error, that is wat courght m a 14lb pike and a shed load of big carp, bream and tench.
