So Guys, got any tips for the canal?

Im going to a canal tommorow got about 20 garden worms and around a pint of red maggots, some of that hookable meat stuff.

Any tips? Im after some reasonably sized fish so considering its winter... I just need as many suggestions as possible.

Id greatly apprechiate any help.

What ill have -
2 fishing rods (1 is cheap)
a 3metre fishing pole elasticated then also with a whip end, 1x fox carp rig and 1x small fish rig.

Take sum cash, if its not fishing well hit the KFC across the road

Pretty bad, only had 2-3perch.

But meh, fishing was free.
