In two minds

Fishing my local fishery soon hopefully targeting some of the tench. However im in two minds. Pole or waggler. I usally waggler fish the water. had some success but i think i could do better. i was thinking about getting a pole and pole fishing, ive seen people bagging up on the pole but ive also heard people say the float is a much more relaxing and pleasing method. however i have a rough idea of what elastics and line i should use but i could do with a bit of help.

i would like to know what you reccomend and what you think i should do

your better off sticking to your strengths, what are the size of the tench you are after? only reason i ask is if there only say 3oz to 1 lb you wont want to use black hydro, also do the pegs you fish have alot of snags in them?

sometimes fishing the pole can be a very busy way of fishing can get quite tiring.

The tench run from anyting to aboult 1lb to 7lb however there are some big carp in thier running to 23lb but the average is between 4-7lb pool nly small about half an acre with about 7 pegs. its about 18m wide and about 25m long like an oval. there are a few snags like 2 reed beds a cluster of lillies and line of bullrushes about 10m long the pool is average 7ft deep but in the middle its about 12 ft deep with a ledge the swims i fish are about 6ft deep with a odd scattering of lillies infront of me with a few uderwatwer tree stumps i dont think this is a problem

I may be able to get a picture but any help on bait and techniques would be helpful

thanks
