Actually it depnds on where you are

Ledger is the classical way but float fishing and even pole accounts for a good many fish

Hi

I usually catch my best bream on rivers using a simple cage feeder, loaded with groundbait and either worm, sweetcorn or bread on the hook.

I usually load my groundbait with some particles to add that bit extra and keep 'em intrested. I bought some brilliant bream groundbait from an online mail order company called Blacksilverbaits. the bream groundbait called Big Bream is very good. I also like to use Sensas River mixed with some Sensas magic.

Hope this helps
