King Sedgemoor Drain, Somerset

Hi there

New to the site, just registered today.

I was wondering if anyone has fished at the above venue.

It is suitable for pole fishing, I'm going down to the area for a week in a few days time, hoping to catch some bream.

I'd appreciate anyone's tips/info

Cheers

King sedgemoor Drain Somerset

Hi Sweetcorn.

I fish The King Sedgemoor most of the time. It can be very hit or miss. One day you will here of someone pulling out 50lb of bream in a few hours the next day your lucky to get a small roach. Fishing on the pole is quite successful on the Sustrans footpath between Bawdrip and Chedzoy. If you need directions speak to the guys in Somerset Angling or Megabaits, both places are run by anglers and are more than happy to give advice
