Hi people,
I'm going night fishing for tench this Friday and i would like some sensible answers . Should i use a size 14 hook?? Should i bait the area with a tin of sweet corn?? Can i fish for another specie at the same time ?? "In you opinion" How many should i catch roughly out the canal ?? What is the best Bait to use?? Ay barbless hook size 12 to 18 (depending on the canal you are fishing)
Small regular groundbait (include corn if fishing corn maggot if fishing maggot) Fishing natural baits you will be fishing for most fish in the water (not Pike) The amount you catch will depend on to many variables (you may not catch at all "Fishing is Fishing not Catching by name") The best bait one day wont work at all another day fish can even change what they are feeding on from hour to hour) Take Corn, Maggots, and Worms. If there are fish in your local canal one of these should catch. Don't forget you will need some type of night time bite indicator, traditional Starlites fit most floats and work well.
