What equipment to u se for tench !!!

I'm going night fishing this Friday and i would like some sensible answers .
Should i use a size 14 hook??
Should i bait the area with a tin of sweet corn??
Can i fish for another specie at the same time ??
"In you opinion" How many should i catch roughly out the canal ??
What is the best Bait to use??

What is the best Bait to use?? Corn Or Bread Has Never Let Me Down Lobworm are alsovery good, feed this over a carpet of smelly groundbait if possible (smelly ground bait, instead of using water use juiced from tins of tuna and/or salmon)
