If you have a jamed rod them why don't you try to fill a bucket up with warm sopey water and put the rod in for about 5-8 minutes them that should work

Talking True!

He's right you know, you can just put your rod in a bucket! If mine's jamed, i extend it and give it a good wrinse in the shower with warm, sopey water. Tell me, why do you keep posting a load of random stuff, bass king!

Post Yup!

They are both right, you might be able to fit your reel in a bucket but not your rod, silly! If you have a jamed telescopic rod, try extending it as much as possible, and then put a little bit of vaseline on the rod. Leave it in their overnight, and by morning, it should be smooth to pull out. Then just wrinse off the vaseline with warm water and dry.

True. And rods don't fit in buckets. But hay - everyone has their own opinion!
