Lightbulb canals

ey

im doing a match for my local team on stainford and keadby canal near thorne an stainford. does ayone fish here or any general canal tips....

ive been told it is atleast 4 pole sections deep mainly skimmer roach perch chub...

i was going to have one roach/perch 5/6 metre line with light line moggots and caster. then one skimmer chub worm line at 11m with worm and caster then have a feder to far bank with worm caster maggot ?? does this sound about righ for a canal....

also where would you ship your pole on cank because there is no space behind you

That's not deep if it's only 4 sections deep thats 15 foot ish now if you were fishing one of the local ponds near me ............ you fish a 9 metre pole to hand with a 4gram pole float and a size 10 hook that's seriously daft pole fishing
