Hello,
I just wanted to let people in the Liverpool area and those outside of a lake i have recently taken over as bailiff. The lake is called Mellors Pool and is located in Whiston and is controlled by Whiston Village Angling Club. There is an annual membership of £14 Senior and £4 Junior. However there are day tickets available on the bank at a cost of £3 senior and £1 junior for those who might like to give it a try. The reason for this post is not just to promote the lake/club it is also to give anglers the opportunity to do what you may describe as PROPER fishing, the lake is full of quality skimmers, roach and chub, not forgetting the large carp. At the moment there is a bit of a problem with water level and the majority of platforms are under water, however fishing is still very accessible and with the continuing warm weather the level is steadily dropping. if you want to add pictures without compromising bandwidth the easiest way is to use a site like Photobucket or one of the others such as webshots then put a redirect to here

like this I use Photobucket and I've added the underscores to show what the text looks like when you paste it in

this is the picture without the additions but as it's hosted elsewhere less space used here
