No they pig in don't

Spend all day yesterday at Meadowfarm pond Clay Cross (£12 for the year £6 concessions £2.50 day ticket) Oh they just loved the floating bread crust ,the dog biscuits on top, sweetcorn, luncheon meat on the bottom

Had a couple of really screamer runs

total score 2 Perch 2 roach You'd think they would leave a size 8 Animal hook alone wouldn't you

BTW I'm now in the doghouse with SWMBO for getting sunburnt 'cos she was at work

Try a controller float along with an anti eject hair rig. I never fail with this type of system to take a carp off the surface.

One other thing I do is to use a 4 foot hooklength so the floating bait is nowhere near where the float is sat in the water.

Your welcome to come and try

'cos I do use that method too
and have tried a small running leger so the bait is anchored
also a top and bottom waggler
too far away to free line

It's just we got inteligent Carp OH Rol on France and their stupid ones

What bait are you lot using?

I may be cheating on the carp bait for floating it

I use small dog biscuits soaked in double strength tuit fruiti.
Also float popup boilies soaked in it too

Yes it catches them every time without fail. I just bung about 10 free offerings out and plant the hookbait in the middle then wait. The strong smelling flavour of the hookait never fails me.
