vintage rod restoration

HI all
I've got an old Sealy splitcane rod in dire need of some t.l.c adn you would think living in Reddithc the home of fishing tackle it should be easy but thereall ether dead retired or dont answer phones ,soit,s etherfind Dick Walkers book on building rods of whitch i have found one but i don't wont a bodge job i would like apro job noing this aint gonna be cheep though .
