when you use a 20 -22 hook the sizes are OK

they are mainly for Roach and sliver fish only and that's what can make up a large amount of match nets

yeah bread punches are made to press out bread small enough for the finest hook or smallest hook for catching the real little fish for bagging up at a match...
another good way i find is to roll the bread the shape of a maggot & hook it this works well for me..

good luck

have you tried meat punches????

I do the same lol

Garlic spam with hot madrass curry powder and black pepper luncheon meat with chilli powder.

On the subject of bread I normaly break a piece off and roll it into tightly pressured balls varying from 10mm to 25mm balls. Hook onto a hair rig and you can cast it for miles without it coming off the hair. It sinks to the bottom plus one advantage of doing this is you can use a bait glug or dip or high attractant fluid to boost it without worrying "has it come off my hair". Had plenty of carp and big tench this way.

Make sure you fry them until the outside is a stiff rubbery texture. With doing it that way they will stay on the hair while casting and small fish cannot attack or bug you by stealing your bait. I caught my first 34lb 4ounce mirror carp on one of these.
