Never been to ireland to fish but saw people fishing on the shannon . . .
i woud reccomend, a load of maggots and casters, sack full of worms, a plain crum groundbait.
Bait up your preferred swim 2-3 days in advance with the groundbait also with a bit of loose feed in it.
On the day, start with double red or caster and if the fish start to feed, try using a worm and maggot cocktail . . . Its a bream favourite
Hope this helps . . .

Before you go check out IF there is a tackle shop nearby and the availabilty of bait
I've not been but folk who have used to have to take their own maggots and worms as tackle shops were difficult to find, and trying o keep bait fresh is a big problem in summer months

Yep, baits is going to be your main problem i think .... where you going to be staying, area wise ??.............as for tactics i would go on a swim feeder for the bream with ground bait..........maybe you could use things that will last like sweetcorn, soft hooker pellets even worms on the hook these kept in damp newspaper will last........but if its hot and you are taking maggots with you it could be tricky..........unless we can find you a tackleshop !! in Ireland.

In Ireland think bigger
for feeder think bucket well spod
the lochs are such large masses of water you need to attract the fish

No Problem

but you will need a little more groundbait than you would use in England and of course the problem of getting bait over there
IF you do know of a tackle shop you may have to order your bait in
