my friend is taking me fishing for carp saturday but i havent got a clue what to do
hello. please could anyone help me. next saturday my friend is taking me fishing at pool hall fisheries in wolverhampton but i really have not got a clue what to do,i have been to dudley baits and tackle and purchased a rod and a few bits and pieces but i dont know how to set the float and shots and my hook up, i also havent got a clue what bait to use for carp.PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME SO MY FRIEND DOESNT LAUGH AT ME!

if its your first time fishing i think it would be a bit harsh of your friend to laugh at you, i'm far from an expert but small baits should work, maggot, sweetcorn, small pellet, light line and small hooks, would'nt your friend help you to shot your float? thats how i learnt by getting my mates to show me.
