Stick maggots together the powder is called Stivkymag but Custard powder does it just as good and gives a nice cloud

The old dyes did cause MOUTH cancer but that's more because the anglers were keeping maggots warm in winter by putting them in their mouths

Frozen maggots work well as feed because they don't bury themselves in the silt

Around here we get some coloured maggots called Disco's they are slightly fluorescent so can work quite well

dont be scared of fishing straight through.
depending on pole and what elastic in can take.
if its rated 16. go to 14.
compensate with line.hooks
weather is warming up now
find 2ft across next to island.same rig plumb up down the edge.
one other rig about 6mtrs.simmple.keep feeding.
