I don't know whwere Orchid Lakes is But generally when looking for suitable pegs you need to look for areas where there are features that fish like Overhanging bushes lots of reeds or lily pads (OK they aren't there now but later) on a lake an area where it never freezes or a water feed where there's more oxygen HTH

just went to orchid lakes club lake today and didn't catch a thing along with numerous other anglers
baits: lob worms, bread, boilies and lucheon meat method: bolt rig, running ledger and hair rig. i think i may have had a bite but the fish must of just played with the bait. at 1 degrees i think it was two cold. coming to think of it i did catch something....... A COLD!! but i would still like to have any tips on fishing that lake as i defenitly will be going back there when its warmer. |
