Wired Looking Carp

I caught this wired looking carp. It was only small and went mental when I hooked it and when I landed it I was rather shocked to see it's face was deformed but many people have told me that it is because people have ripped the hook out of the fish rather than gently removing it. You can clearly see that its eyes are down turned and the white fleshy bit at the front is its tongue if this was hurt by an angler then it would most probably died.

Pictures Attatched.
Let me know what you think.
