Re: how can i catch these carp
hey. I have a lake like this just near me and last season i managed to rak up a tally of 62 twenties from this place just from durin the day. Ure best bet would be to use tiger nuts. just simply one big one or two smaller ones on the hair with 8 or 9 scattered around it from say a pva bag. these give instant attraction and carp love them espacially if they don't get much angling pressure. hope this helps.
p.s make sure u use backleads if ure on a boating lake!!! ![]() |

Re: how can i catch these carp
basically all your need is a length of antitangle tubing and some lead clips. Korda do special action packs which contain all the necessary information and rig bits for lead clips as they are very very safe set ups. For the rig end of it i would get hold of some kryston snakebite or mantis as this has an abrasive coating on it and just simply tie on a size 8-10 hook of your chose with a knotless knot and fish the tiger nuts on the hair. If u don't understand jus tell me and i will simplify for u.

Re: how can i catch these carp
Sounds like a nice spot, obviously tiger nuts are a sound bait but if you can see these fish on the surface what about getting a loaf of bread and using the crust, if the ledgering technique don't pay off, jus use a bubble/controller float or if it's calm water you could freeline with only a hook and crust have fun!
