Overnight Carping

I might be going tomorrow night, has anyone got any really good tips, i go with 4 other people, and we have a little competition, because we hardly catch, just whoever catches the most :]

The lake is Huge, ive only caught one carp there ( my pb ) and it was off 2 flouro pop-ups on a hair rig.

So, any help so i can win this time ?

Try a few spods of Garlic luncheon meat, might be a little expensive but i bet you will catch on it,smallish cube on the hair but if you dont have or want to use a spod then PVA bags are a great way of getting your bait round your hook bait, just put everything in a good size PVA bag and cast out to your chosen swim, job done, take it from me it works

I would say yes,if this water is not fished then the chances are the carp have been feeding on nothing but natural food, worm ,maggots would be the kind of bait i would use and if you can get Red Worm that is the best of all....try feeding hemp and small particles because the carp would be used to hoovering up small water snails for there feed amongst the weed....feed a few spods of dead red maggots and chopped worm this will get them feeding well then a bunch of maggots on the hook or a good bunch of red worm and wait for the action

ALWAYS SOAK AND COOK PARTICLES PROPERLY !!

I'm sure you all heard about benson dying because of uncooked tiger nuts. Soak the hemp for 24 hours and then boil it for at least half an hour
