Don't forget guys that your licence only allows you two rods FISHING so after your marker and Spod rod if you fish three rods ou need two licences

Hate you to loose all that tackle

Try this, all you carp and tench lads.

In answer to the above try the Shotgun feeders that Middy make, they look and sound Mickey mouse but they are fantastic, I have been using these feeders now for about two years,I fished the match scene for years,Castle ashby opens for a short time, embassy pairs, mostly club matches,i used to feeder fish whenever I could,I won a few matches with both bream and carp, got on well and liked the method feeder, the elasticated ones(proper method feeder fishing)then I found these Shotgun Feeders,These are better!even with them not fixed the rod tip still wrap's round.
I read in angling times in one of the question, answer things that they have, that they don't work very well with ground bait,

Well they do!

The thing is they are a bit two small for just ground bait in the warmer weather when the carp need a lot of food, you need to cast out every few minutes for a start, but in the winter they work very well, you never over feed the fish with them! I normally use Swim Stim ground bait with the same amount of brown crumb, then I add dampened Micro pellets, keep it as dry as you can so it casts OK and stops in the feeder.
I have loads of interest in them, match angers from all over are using them now,My local tackle shop has sold loads of them, they are better now and don't lose the leads any more.
Last Monday I had 10 carp from 6lb up to 11lb from Willowbrook Lake(Islip,Northants) ,then on Wednesday evening ready for me to fish on the Thursday, one of the joint owners spodded out some feed in there other lake Rysons(Bream and Tench lake),he gave me permission to use a keep net(I needed Two in the end) and I had 13 Bream, from 5 lb up to 8lb, 2 Tench up to 6lb,all on the Shotgun Feeder, with the feed as above, live red maggots and a 3in hook length, and as I said before, keep chucking it out and they will come! Thanks and good luck to you all.
Graham,

PS They work for fish from a few oz up to 20lb plus
