I'd say shakespeare do make some budget tackle, but it is a high standard for what you pay. Mach 1 & 2 rods for example

My apologies, i diddnt read the post correctly. I thought he wanted good names of things to buy.




I think keenets is OK as a starter make, your best bet is to have a gander on Ebay and places like that, youll definatley be able to pick up something for cheap off there. Sorry i couldnt be of more help.
I do have one GOOD word of advice, dont buy ANYTHING from the pound shop, itll just harm the fish if anything.

it wasn't me i have a set of 3 (one spare, remember 2 licenses needed for 3 / 4 rods) i use very rarely. i may use them saturday night if i get lazy and go for a sleep

PLEASE read your licence if you go to sleep or for a pee then according to the laws your rods areun-attended even if you have alarms so be careful all you need is a super keen baliff and you have lost your tackle

stay away from tfg i run my own syndicate water and have 35 members all with stories on rubbish tfg stuff force 8 alarms not working right quick bivies not been that quick and stitching falling out of luggage
plastic joints on bivies breaking too

price wise fox are not that too far behind and much better products or jrc
