Ground Bait

hi, i am mark from Blackpool, i am new to fishing and had ago at making my own ground bait, this is what i made

bread crumbs
sweet corn
dog biscuits ( crushed )
Weetabix (crushed )
Cajun spice
and red milk shake syrup

it seemed to work great and had loads of fish in my swim, has any one else played master chef and got any proven ground baits that are home made, cos it fun to make and miles cheaper ??

Mark you hit on three things there that do seem to attract fish
Sweetcorn
Spices
Sweetness (milk shake syrup)

the bread, biscuit and Weetabix will have bulked out the feed and reduced it's fish filling properties so they would have to forage more for the good bits

Well done on finding a mix that works for you
