Yeah - although a liecence isn't that expensive anyway is it? Although yeah - it's some extra pennies in the pocket for more tackle, bait etc!

yh some fishing tackle an be pretty steeply priced and some arent even worth it

Well - i don't know about freshwater tackle but evrything can be bought cheap for sea fishing - at the right place.
Hooks, swivels and weights can come in packets of 20 for £1.
Good rods and reels start from £20 each and good full kits from £30 each.
Floats, bells, disgougers etc. etc. are also only under £1 each.
Scales, tape measures, fishing gaer and everything else can also be bought cheap.
