Big shops are now taking over, mainly decathlon in my area. Due to this most of my local tackle shops are under threat and some closing down.
Yes decathlon may have a varied selection of fishing equipment in, but think about YOUR LOCAL TACKLE witch has probably been there Since
you started fishing your self, maybe your first pint of maggots were from there? the point is the moment you brought from your local shop
you instantly love your tackle shop.
I remember a tackle shop just down the road from me, it was open since 1976 selling good quality equipment with friendly staff always
happy to help, a family run business by anglers for anglers. CLOSED. put out of business by Argos.
DECATHLON and ARGOS may be very convenient for you at the time as everything is under one roof but think, even if its just a float,
how much is this from my tackle shop, is it the same quality and does it give you the same satisfaction knowing that your helping no
