Paste is really easy to make and even easier to fish. you can just knead some Carp pellets of the required flavour to a paste in the palm of your hand until it's the right consistency and use that
it's quick and easy

if you're caught out at the bankside you've got a quick paste that works and you can add otherstuff to it as you can the big recipe that Giffy suggests
