You'll find the fly tying kits have the hardware you need

then you need a box to store everything else in

You need
long shank fly hooks
different threads - it's special stuff not sewing thread
then there are coloured varnishes (although I do use nail varnish)
then there's the feathers, Hackles (special feathers from cockerels necks), maribou, glitter, flash, tubing, copper wire, lead wire

Setting up from scratch came be expensive but also awkward best thing is to get a pattern and buy what you need for that one

This is not a promise as I've got lots of stuff on the boil at present but I will find a couple of really old patterns and re-write them on here in a new thread to help you get started
