yes the crucian cartp is in the family CYPRINIDAE which includes the family of common carp,rudd,minnow etc
they rarely exceed 3.3lb & are very close to the goldfish a bit like a wild goldfish

i fish for crucian on pole & waggler & caught them many times with bread red maggot & worm i try to keep the hook about size 18 & other than that they are great fun to catch
