hi, new to pole fishing got a new pole 12.5m for a starter pole and i have one normal end and 2 power tops my local pond they average 7lb but go to 17.5lb linear and i will use my normal end for that ive put in 8lb elastic would this handle a 17.5 if i happened to get it on??? and on one of the power tops 12lb and other 14lb due to i go to this lake with big big carp in. have i gone far wrong and would 8lb cope i have little expierience in pole fishing thanks
