Firstly, I dont think this you or even just in your area.
I live in Falmouth in Corwall and after talking to all the other anglers around the area, it looks like there has been very low fish stocks over the past 12/18 months. I don't rightly know why it's happening but my guess would be local fishing trawlers taking more than whats allowed. And one a small scale it could just be due to an increase in people taking up the sport.

If anybody else has any other idea about why this is happening then please leave a post because I would love to find out more about this as I thought this was just Cornwall but by the looks of things, it's a bigger problem.
