Maggot care

If you are going to keep maggots in a fridge the temp needs to be 34 Fahrenheit
If you do take them colder they will go into diapause the state they archive to overwinter in the wild if this happens just riddle of the medium that you have them in has gently has you can replace with sawdust and leave at room temp till they come around anything up to six hours

your losses will be minimal

do not squeeze and play with them this will kill them

average time from maggot to fly 18 to 21 days

watch out for fish fed maggots they are the ones that froth up
